This pandemic has challenged all of us – but the impact on low-income working families has been especially harsh.
Before COVID-19, the average income for a family of four served by Hope Street Margolis Family Center was $23,000. Now, reduced work hours and unemployment mean that over half of these families are struggling to pay rent or buy food. Hope Street and local businesses are working together to make sure that families and their children are not left behind.
