Behavioral Health Clinic

Services Provided

The Behavioral Health Clinic provides outpatient mental health evaluations, diagnosis and treatment for children 0–21 years old and their families. Funding is provided by the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health.  Services provided include the following:

  • Individual, family collateral and group therapy
  • Assistance in accessing medical, educational, social and financial resources
  • Community referrals to after-school programs
  • Coordination of treatment services
  • Medication evaluations by Child Psychiatrist
  • Psychological assessments


Does your child or teen have one or more of the following?

  • School problems; difficulty concentrating and following directions, inability to complete assignments, disruptive and truant behavior
  • Socialization difficulties; trouble getting along with family and friends or isolating self from others
  • Frequent sadness, worry, anxiety, irritability and/or anger
  • Lack of energy, loss of interest in activities
  • Uncontrollable temper tantrums and aggressive behavior
  • Traumatic or disruptive life events, such as family separation, death of loved one, serious illness, relocation, exposure to violence or abuse
  • Drug or alcohol use

The California Behavioral Health Clinic offers psychological services in English and Spanish to children, adolescents, and their families.  We accept Medi-Cal.

We are located on the sixth floor of the La Vida Medical Group building at 1400 S Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90015.
